You know, unions also HELP business...

They give a company a template for every hire. Nobody has to haggle on benefits with multiple HR reps, no one has to negotiate salary - it's all done when making the contract for everyone.

Also - if an employer wants to know what his or her employees feel about something - they just have to ask the union.

It also provides a central point for employees to meet - and with that, get more training.

Why any company wouldn't want a union is a mystery to me...

I've worked for a few (UFCW being among them) and the deal has always been "honest wage for honest day's work."

What could be more capitalist than that?

Capitalism, if it is to survive, needs more unions, not less.
