O.K. pay teachers double for carrying

Makes sense to me. They'd be doing two jobs, and one is dangerous, so they should get more paid vacations and better pensions as well. So Mrs. Fields, who teaches 3 grade English, and likes to bake cookies, will now be packing heat. Don't be fooled that just because she sings in her churches choir, that she's not ready to cap some MF'er. Hope her arthritis doesn't hamper her when the time comes. She does where bifocals. And her hearings not that great. Maybe Mrs. Field's needs to be retired so that Springday Elementary can hire G.I. Jane instead. Git er done.

1. How 'bout we pay them double just for being teachers.

I get ya salinen. They say satire must have some truth involved and I have no doubt your OP has been a real discussion at some RW kitchen tables.

2. Mrs. Fields: She'll Pop a Cap in yer Dome if you fuck with her Third-Graders!

I kinda like that kind of serious but I don't think she needs a gun.

3. Will teachers defense pistols have safeties or be slab sided?

I'm not sure pistols without a manual safety are the best choice for educators.

4. I wonder------?

Will the teachers be allowed to "pack" at school board meetings?
How about contract negotiations?

Hm-m-m?

6. As a former teacher, I never would have considered bringing a gun to class...

... though I own one.

But doubling the salary means something, especially since I don't think it's likely that terrorists will come to my classroom.
