Romney was double-taxedLast edited Tue Jan 24, 2012, 10:58 PM USA/ET - Edit history (1)
Wow, really? Double? As in twice? Shoot, I've been taxed more ways than that and you can't round my net worth down to the nearest $100 million. We need to tax that man again! And this time, make it good...

1. I guess Republicans don't understand how money is recycled. And taxed again.
|
But Romney was only double-taxed. America has been double-crossed.

2. Yeah? I pay more than double his tax rate

I must have been quadruple taxed. I'm obviously doing something wrong. |

4. I am seeing this meme everywhere
|
That he paid 35 pct when he made the money and again 15 percent on interest income for a total of 50pct. I have no idea if it is true. Some of these accounting articles are over my head esp when you start talking corporate taxes and tax law but the meme is out there.

|

GE is a corporation that paid ZERO taxes.... so how do these folks know anything. Those are just talking points given to them to pull out of their asses..... when required. |
