2. No it isn't. It's pouring here now, Kerrville, TX (Hill Country, west of Austin).

We haven't had any significant precip in several months. Of course this will help. Kerrville is on the Guadalupe River. When I drove past one of the spills two days ago I was amazed at how little water was falling and how low the river was. January is typically rainy and recharges the aquifer so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the rest of the month will be rainy as it is now.

And the legislature is in session. Thank god they only meet for 140 days every other year. I don't think we could survive being inflicted by them every year.
