Allstate tries to cheat couple, then uses their house in an ad.

How crass can they get?

A Staten Island couple said their insurance company short-changed them after superstorm Sandy destroyed their home, and then used their house in a commercial.

1. pretty stupid, too. the p.r. problem will cost them much more than the value of their claim.

2. Kick 'em when they're down.

I hope the Trainas get more than $10,000 from Allstate.

4. Allstate claims they're "first on the scene providing... emotional support"?

How many ways is this not true in any natural disaster? Insurance companies are notorious for taking forever to assess claims, and then they very often add insult to emotional trauma by short-changing their customers like the folks in this article.

5. There, there. The storm is over and you can be happy

that the storm was the least of your worries. Now you have Allstate to deal with!
