8. She has!

I feel silly but every time they show her it makes me tear up. She's so brave. And my god she's so little! And she's gonna get through this, as tiny as she is. Strength in a small package.

Did you see her husband? He's clearly smitten with her. The whole story should give us all hope that there is good left in this world.

7. I'm appreciative of your sharing Ms. O's story & progress

Heavens, though that is a really extensive set of injuries. Do you mind my asking if she was wearing a helmet and if so, was it functioning as it should?

A to her progress and resilience (and yours).

12. I'm glad you shared her story & underscored the importance of the helmet

in saving her life. I'm sure there is a collective gasp when told she was going under 25mph. If only state legislatures throughout this country could hear this, when considering legislation to repeal helmet laws.

I think most of us think scooters are relatively safe because they are low speed (assuming a car doesn't collide with them). Your wife's story is important.

13. Sometimes a serious health crisis makes families much stronger

when we see both love and responsibility on display - clearly you both did something right to have such a caring daughter.
