Why does all media keep saying 9/11 Lybia attack?

Possibly trying to tie that attack emotionally to THE 9/11 attack?

3. Wasn't the Lybia attack on 9/11/2012? I think I remember someone talking about

the Binladen guys doing it as a reminder of the 9/11 attack in NY which was 10 years prior.

It is clear to me that the right wing has tried to milk the attack in Lybia in the exact same manner that they did the US/ 911 attack. It makes me wonder what a coincidence the Lybian attack was on 9/11, which resulted in so much campaign chatter. They jumped right on that horse and have been beating it ever since. If they didn't orchestrate it then this attack was the biggest gift to the right... ever.
