Anyone else skipping the SOTU speech?

I want to go to the gym so I probably won't watch it.

On the good side, I'd like to be there when our President does himself proud in the middle of so many who hate him and aren't fit to shine his shoes.

I actually love to watch the President come into the chamber and then give a speech. It might not be a big deal to some but to me a SOTU is part of history, good or bad. I like the ritual and inane tidbits of history like:

All the clapping is annoying, imo. Too many interruptions. Too much theater.

I usually don't make it this far------it pisses me off to no end when after every sentence, we have to wait forever for the next sentence because everyone has to publicly show how much they like what is said.
