Do the Romneys actually clip coupons?

Isn't the point of being millionaires the fact that you don't have to worry about saving a few pennies on your grocery bill?

Do they shop at the Dollar Store too?

Bonds used to have interest payment notes called coupons that you'd cash in as they matured, over the life of the bond.

Vernacularly, being a coupon clipper today means non-working and wealthy with some sort of regular income from investments.

But it's kind of an antique phrase. My mom used it (with contempt). And Tweety still uses it.
