My wife gets excited if she's picked for a pat down by the TSA.

And not just a pat down. She likes to get pulled aside to go through the body scanner as well.

Am I lucky? Is she weird? What's up?

2. As a frequent flyer I have an intimate relationship with a number of TSA agents...

It's promiscuous but I can't help myself.

4. Try surprising your wife by dressing up as a TSA agent at home.

Could be fun.

5. Not weird. This year, while traveling for

Thanksgiving, both my wife and I got selected for the scanner at MSP (Minneapolis). My wife thought it was interesting to get scanned. I didn't mind, even when my loose jeans caused an alert on my right ankle, which got patted down by a TSA person. It was seriously no big deal. They're using the microwave scanners, not the x-ray.

8. I think (many) women are less inhibited about this than men

I think once you've gone through a childbirth or two, especially if it was in a teaching hospital where they bring in seven interns to stick their hands up the, um, "birth canal," you really lose all inhibitions.

I can't say I like being pulled aside for the scans (I'm usually anxious to get to the gate), but I don't feel invaded by it that much. We're used to getting felt up.

You could use this as a scenario for you know, late night activites.

you may need to have a conversation with your wife.
