LOL my English grandmother said the one and only time she took me (when I was 5) to a circus I was utterly horrified by the clowns

ETA: Of course, it's a stupid thing to say to anyone, but to say it to someone who has power over you is also a dumb risk.

11. I have always been terrified of clowns

I thnk it has to do with the fact that you don't really know who they are under all that makeup and costume, and I always sensed something creepy when in close proximity to one or more. When I was a kid, it seemed that all the clowns were creepy old guys that would instantly bring to mind the John Wayne Gacey type.

But I like this guy because he isn't really a clown and is dressed like one to make a point and you can tell who he is, so what if he's gay?
