A peculiar petal-shaped cluster spotted on Mars sparked buzz that flowers might be blooming on the red planet.

The so-called “Martian flower” is seen in an image captured by NASA’s Curiosity rover last month. Pearl-colored petals appear to sprout from the rock’s surface....

7. Liberal Science Geekiness Rules!

The live Curiosity landing was so very cool,as a geekess watching those actual rocket scientists so anxious and then celebrate like they won the World Series was awesome.

Mars will be terraformed at some point and we will have a colony there, book it.

11. Stone formations in caves that look like flowers

They’re called gypsum flowers where gypsum-containing limestone squeezes them out of cracks like toothpaste over thousands of years.

12. Keep this in mind, you can not have plants unless you have animals

If there is plant life on any planet then there must be animal life as well. Think of it this way, if one breaths carbone dioxide and exhales oxygen then there must be a counterpart that breaths oxygen and exhales carbon dioxide. Well, it doesn't have to be carbone dioxide and oxygen, but if there is a yin there must be a yang.
