Star Goalie Snubs White House - Boston Player Refuses To Attend Ceremony
Wow, I used to like TT. Guess he's been hit in the head with a few too many pucks.
http://www.theindychannel.com/sports/30282804/detail.html "Opposed to what he called the "out of control" growth of the federal government, Boston Bruins goalie Tim Thomas declined an invitation to join his teammates at the White House on Monday."

2. He's a bright bulb: when asked whom he would most like to have dinner with...
|
Thomas is a Republican and has stated that the person he would most like to have dinner with is conservative TV pundit Glenn Beck

3. How ridiculous
|
If I was on a championship team, I would view meeting with ANY US president as an honor to the team and organization. I really like Thomas' goal-keeping skills, but other than that, he sounds like an egomaniac (it's all about him, apparently).
Oh yeah, and one last thing - go CANUCKS! |

Heck, if it's so important, his belief in 'out of control growth' he should go and talk to our President about it. Maybe he thinks we are still under GW's rules. Tikki |

7. Timmy: Do you refuse to play in arenas that were subsidized with government funds?
|
Do you feel that out of control government spending paid your overinflated salary?

9. Mr. Thomas, sports players salaries are "out of control".

You are paid millions upon millions for menial work (side show).
