Social Security Question: With his work hours seesawing wildly enough that

that we have little economic stability (my job is only for nine and a half months a year), my husband has decided to start collecting social Security even though he is not retiring. He will continue working for ten years more or as long as he is able to, which ever comes first.

Question: As he is continuing to work, he is continuing to contribute to Social Security via deductions from his paycheck. Will those continued deductions show up in his social security payments as the years go by, or will he see no benefit from those payments to the SS fund?

5. Interesting that SS sends occasional summaries of contribution history,

providing reminders of where and when we've worked over the years.

6. We used to get a summary every year, but SSA announced last year that they

were suspending the summaries in order to save the cost of printing and sending...
