1. Reid is trying to forge a bi-partisan plan so they can do it without using the 51 vote

'nuclear option'. He's using the trick of recessing to extend the first senate session to last more than this first
day so they have more time.

2. I am not sure I trust Reid I am woried we will end up with a worthless "fix" that means nothing

we need to keep the pressure on or this will go away like last time.
