If I'm listening to this roll call vote properly, John Boehner didn't show up for his own vote?
They're voting on Speaker of the House, and are going back and redoing those who didn't respond first time through, and John Boehner isn't voting on his own position? Given that a few recalcitrants are voting for Eric Cantor or whoever, I don't think he has the latitude to play around. Am I following this correctly?

5. It is my understanding that the Speaker often does not cast votes
As I understand it, it is customary for the Speaker not to vote on issues and guess that includes his own re-election. Boehner had the votes even without his vote
