In Walmart's home county: Uninsured Residents Cost Hospitals Millions

http://www.pressdisplay.com/pressdisplay/viewer.aspx

"Some of the richest counties in the state have the highest uninsured rates.

Between 52.1 percent and 63.9 percent of adults between the ages of 19 and 64 in Benton County are uninsured, according to the 2010 Census. Washington County has 47.9 percent to 52 percent uninsured adults in the same age range, according to the census.

Bo Ryall, president of the Arkansas Hospital Association, said uninsured residents cost state hospitals $338 million a year in uncompensated health care. "
*******************************************

Benton County had 227,556 residents last year, meaning that 145,408 of them were uninsured. The county is also 91% white. Since Arkansas had a population of 2,915,921 people, the hospitals are eating the $116 a year for every man, woman, and child in the state.

2. But, but

the rich folk need more money than they can spend in seven lifetimes!

The poor don't need a silly thing like life!

The poor should be HAPPY to die so the rich can be even richer....
