Colorado SOS - Finds SIX Cases of Voter Fraud
and yes, he's a newly elected Republican SOS - making it harder to register based on "widespread" voter fraud, that doesn't exist.
Six individuals are suspected of voter fraud in the 2010 election, according to the Colorado Secretary of State’s Office. Based on a comparison of voting records between Kansas and Colorado, the individuals appear to have cast ballots in both states. The information has been turned over to the FBI for investigation. “Voter fraud undermines our electoral system,” Colorado Secretary of State Scott Gessler said in a statement Monday. “I will continue to be vigilant and undertake these kinds of anti-fraud measures. These state crosschecks are an important component in ensuring the integrity of our election process.” Last year Gessler, a Republican, sued Denver’s Clerk and Recorder for mailing ballots to inactive voters, as he cited the “potential for fraud.” Critics said Gessler was disenfranchising lower income and minority voters. http://blogs.denverpost.com/thespot/2012/01/23/gessler-cites-voter-fraud-in-2010-election/55272/#disqus_thread

I doubt he'll take it seriously the next time someone robo-calls me and tells me Democrats vote on Wednesday rather than Tuesday. Which happens to me every damn election year.

out in all the other cases in the other states. I think in WI a few thought they had their right to vote reinstated after prison terms and probation - but it hadn't been -
These guys all grab at straws and later when proven wrong, never say anything about it. |
