Isn't it time for the Tea Party to actually start their own party?

As much as I enjoy seeing Republicans fight among themselves, America doesn't deserve another 4 years of obstructionism.

There was a time when Democrats and Republicans could compromise and pass meaningful legislation. But the Tea Party adopted a scorched each policy. And coupled with their suicide pact with Grover Norquist have hurt the recovery. As long as this lunatic fringe can exert control over the entire Republican Party we have more drama in our future.

1. The Tea Party is just Fox News' attempt to get elected officials into office.

They are just a creation of the Fox Ministry Of Propaganda, they are not to be taken seriously.

2. They have just enough votes to stop legislation.

If they got kicked out of the Republican party they would wither on the vine. And that would be good for America.

3. They know they won't win elections without being part of the Republicans

Their financial supporters are big business

4. In the long run, wouldn't be better if the Republican establishment "kicked them out".

They certainly haven't been team players. Along with the religious extremists, they have pushed the Republican Party way to the right. I don't think they will ever again enjoy overwhelming public support. But they are still dangerous. If you separate them they will fade away.

6. When they are no longer useful to the Republican party their support will wither

I once saw a documentary called the Billionaires Tea Party. Apparently, there was big money behind the 2009 mainstream surge of these dormant nut jobs. When the Republican party and big business realize they are hurting them, they will go away.

5. NSDAP

parliamentary behavior, before it got control of German state through deal with Hindenburg and top capitalists, was extremely obstructionist in order to appear "principled" and gain popular support.

Republican party core of banksters, MIC, oil etc corporations know they need the right wing populist vote and sentiment to have any chance of winning elections and to keep the money coming to their coffins. But handling and controlling populist "principled" sentiment and movement is always the art of riding a tiger. And while the segment of "old, white, male" fascists may not be wise, that does not mean they cannot be smart while playing the power game they've played succesfully for centuries.

And fascism is the last recluse of capitalism.
