I officially support Eric Cantor for Speaker of the House

I officially support Eric Cantor for Speaker of the House.

Cantor might just be one of the most vile people to currently walk the planet and I can't think of a better speaker for the House.

I actually live in Cantors district and know first hand how vile he really is. After the freak quake in VA the summer before last, Cantor demanded that social spending cuts match aid dollar for dollar. This aid package would have primarily helped his own constituents.

That is how crazy extreme right Cantor is.

Last night he was the person that lead the charge for stopping the deal that halted great fiscal armageddon. Arguments can be made for or against the deal, but I bet Cantor was against it without reading it. It helped poor people and he can't tolerate that in any way.

I'm not sure what the leak about boner was all about today, but my guess is he thinks he's lost and tomorrow he can now retroactively retire.

I'm hoping so, we NEED Cantor as speaker.

Let the true Republican flag fly. Let them rally behind Cantor and show their deepest feelings once and for all.

In the end, Cantor and his closest allies will be calling all the shots for their side anyway. He should be blamed for every bit of the hate they propose in the next 2 years.

2. LOL

It's quite fitting you are the first reply

I think it's perfect. Cantor might be the only person that can beat Cantor in 2014.

10. Even if they didn't

it might be enough to flip enough other seats to make him minority leader in 2014.

He's going to do just as much (if not more) harm being boners puppetmaster as he would as speaker.

Sometimes things do have to get crazier before they can return to sanity.

3. Maybe with any luck he will be run out of Congress before his term is up.

Along with more teabaggers.

We really need to use teabaggers more to identify the nutbags. Then in the future, mentioning someone as a teabagger is a negative in the minds of the people.

8. Probably less!

Right now he gets all the TV time he wants for hero worship among the teabaggers, while boner is taking all the heat today.

Cantor is one of the (if not THE) puppetmasters of boner.

He wouldn't have anyone to demonize to the baggers for compromise (hahahaha) and he would take most of the heat for any that does happen.

All in all, being speaker may limit the damage this evil man does to us.

11. Not senior enough

I also doubt the R's would do that after this last election. I think the name Romney is being scrubbed as fast as possible and they almost wish they could do the same with Ryan.

Nov 6th was a humiliating defeat.

7. Was he just re-elected by a large margin?

I actually thought that he had a good chance of being voted out- that there was enough evidence if his vileness to keep him from winning again- is he at least starting to loose popularity in your district? He really is a disgusting man. Vile and smug.

9. It was close.

He won 58% to 42%, which sounds huge, but the district was gerrymandered to give him 70%+ of the vote.

Allowing his voice to be heard every day, rather than every few months during a battle might get him out in 2014.

17. I totally see your reasoning here, obx. We shall

see if boner can hold? I posted downthread that he said today he was done with anymore negotiations with PBO.

And, what was that outburst of telling Reid to "f*** himself".. ala dick cheney? That's incredibly juvenile.

13. Me too. House republicans think they are screwed now, wait until that smarmy snake has

led them for 21 months leading up to the 2014 midterms.

I read about it.. anyway, he says he's done having any one on ones with PBO.

18. I missed that, but it doesn't surprise me at all.

He's lost his power, if he ever really had any.

NO! only goes so far, his puppet master(s) demand more than he is able to deliver.
