We’ve got the first report about Romney’s 2010 taxes. His effective tax rate was 13.9%, just below the 15% he estimated last week. More shortly.

2. Rich fuckers sure do suck at math. 14% does not equal 15%.

5. At most, it's 13.9% on his REPORTED income.
|
He's obviously trying to dodge taxes. Why would anyone believe that he is truthfully reporting all of his foreign income on his tax returns? For someone who has set up multiple accounts in the Cayman Islands, it is more likely that he is only reporting income from some accounts to give the false impression that he is being truthful and candid with respect to his foreign income.

6. He needs to be pressured to release his tax returns going back 10 years.
|
I was reading somewhere (can't remember the site) that his 2008 tax returns could possibly show that he paid zero taxes because of creative accounting. That would surely doom his candidacy.
