Full House and Senate worked into the night 24/7 to save Big Banks

Surely we remember the Bank Bailout

But now when clearly the Working Class will suffer the brunt of the damage brought on by their inaction, they resort to games and political posturing.

Does bring to light with blinding accuracy who the Real Masters of Washington are

1. Always have to know who you work for

Hank Paulson supposedly barfed in his office trash can after one particularly tough meeting trying to put together a $785 BILLION deal to save banks.

Do you think anyone is Washington is barfing about not being able to help the 99% ?

Yeah - me neither.

2. Good point.

Plus the obvious point that increasing revenue and cutting exepenses does absolutely no good if the debt ceiling gets raised.
Plus, it is the responsibility of the House to draw up an annual budget, and, as I understand it, they have failed to do so for at least 4 years.

3. We will know them by their deeds.

I am not particularly religious, but this is a true statement.

4. This is illustrative of the clear need for COMPLETE CAMPAIGN FINANCE REFORM (CCFR)!!!

Please help to build a consensus by spreading the word! This should be our only issue going forward! Washington only answers to special interests and that needs to stop!

5. Do you folks remember the FAA Furlough last year?

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/08/02/faa-furlough-congress-reauthorization_n_916322.html

When basically the Congress wanted to go home for the holidays and I think it was Boxer who stood up and said - nope, ya'll are gonna get this done so these people can have their pay for the holidays.

That's when I knew that:

1.) Democrats are awesome
2.) The Congress is pretty broken
3.) I was madly in love with Barbara Boxer

My point is - they don't give a shit about us by and large.

6. Impossible to forget.

The House, Senate, and White House, in a shameful display of Bi-Partisanship and Finding Common Ground delivered a $TRILLION DOLLARS to the Wall Street Banksters, No Questions Asked/No Strings Attached,
less than a week after receiving a 3 page Ransom Note that threatened THEIR 1% Portfolios.

Anyone who has ever believed that Congress is too top heavy,
too bureaucratic,
too monolithic
too act quickly,
let the above forever put that myth to rest.

Our representatives CAN and WILL strike faster than a rattlesnake when the quarterly profits of THEIR "retirement portfolios" are threatened.

You will know them by their WORKS,
not by their rhetoric, promises, or excuses.
Solidarity99!
