Introducing Discussionist: A new forum by the creators of DU

The privileged 2% lost the election

but they put in quite an effort. Disenfranchising voters, Casino millions, Freedomworks black money, hate radio propaganda blitzkrieg, promises of endless off shoring and ending any possible relationship the rich have with paying into the commons.

Poster Child Mitt lost, and so did those ideas.

Boner Boy & Yurtle are defying the obvious will of the people. We should defy them like a fist to the eye socket.

1. The 2% seem to be doing nothing but expanding...

their lead over the middle class. The election was a win win for them.

2. The 2% haven't lost an election, or much of anything else, in decades.

3. Yeah; unfortunately for us 98%, they still own the government.

And most of the country.

4. They Are Still In The Let Us 98% Eat Road Kill (Not Cake) Mode ----

The rich are still determined to have their way with the GOP and their owned media in the lead. In their view they own us all like slaves. Look at Les Miserables if you want to understand their attitude.

They also believe we cannot do a damned thing about it.

5. Very true, but don't forget they're feeding off of a permanent war budget which must be stopped. n/t

6. Uhm, not really, since both parties are bought n paid for by them

we only get the illusion of voting folks into office. Once in office they will do what their overlords tell them to, or so has been the case since Carter left office. All branches of gov't, all pols, ultimately either are part of the 2% or are bought by the 2%.
