A student's view of teachers with guns
I can't find the exact tweet. One person tweeted that if their teachers had guns, they wouldn't have lived through school.
That would probably happen too. Some teacher on their last leg and nerve would probably lose it. You may think I'm crazy, but it could all brew up at once, and that's all she wrote. I don't mean this would be a weekly occurrence, but it would happen.

1. I was talking with my 13-year-old about teachers having guns in school. As an abstract, he just kind
of shrugged it off, and didn't really take it seriously. But then we started going to down his list of teachers: How would you feel if Mrs. X had a handgun? How about Mr. Y? And then he started laughing in horror as he imagined some of his teachers with handguns in the classroom. Mr. Y, my son said, would probably use it to get the kids' attention in class.
