Why Isn't The Following Post On DU's Front Page?

Reminder: Progressives Have a Great Solution to the 'Fiscal Bluff'!

Seems pretty important - if you agree, give it a rec!

1. Because it's like

the People's Budget, which this Congressman (http://www.democraticunderground.com/10022040837) voted against.

Why don't progressive proposals get more attention?

People only care about these when they're being cynical.

2. I agree with 733

But I also have a lot of faith in this President and the Vice President and a lot of his advisors. They won't hurt the elderly, and the cuts they make probably will make a better program and we won't notice any differences - changes will probably affect sources of SS and Medicare, not recipients....like higher taxes for the wealthy.
