Wayne LaPierre = Ralphie from A Christmas Story

Wayne LaPierre's reasoning for gun ownership is no different from the Ralphie's reasoning in A Christmas Story.

Ralphie was always going to save his family with "Old Blue" from the criminal gang of Black Bart.

In the end, Ralphie nearly shot his eye out.
