Right-wing author: Jon Stewart part of the culture that led to shootings
According to one right-wing author, the "Daily Show" host has helped "drive out of our society" VIDEO
New York Times bestselling author Joel Rosenberg tied Jon Stewart to the shootings in Newtown, Conn., because Stewart is part of “the cultural war against Jesus and Christmas” that helps “drive out of our society, our of our schools and courts.” In a blog post, Rosenberg cites the ongoing so-called War on Christmas, and how “We are, in many respects, in a moral and spiritual freefall in our country, and we are paying a terrible price.” http://www.salon.com/2012/12/19/right_wing_author_jon_stewart_part_of_the_culture_that_led_to_shootings/ Yup, anything but guns are the problem....

1. Yes, because the Republicans are quite known for their sanctity of their own personal responsibility

Be it marriage, finance or social viewpoints.
It's do as I say, not as I do; always has been. If there are ANY cultural hangups that are a result of the gun-related violence (which is laughable, at which point do we address the weapon?) it is the group pointing the fingers... |

Rosenberg writes rubbish and my dad is a fan of his writings. |

9. Jon is not to blame for the shooting...
|
The blame for the shooting should be placed on 'guns and', or 'guns along with', not 'just guns'.

rocks at a bird's nest until we could get over to him and stop him.
His answer to why he did that.. "I don't want someone to see the nest and kill the birds". Luckily, there were no birds using that nest at that time. He didn't know that. This is how some think. They feel fear and see danger in everything. They have no negotiation skills and little self-control. What a sad way to live a life. Tikki |

13. Here is how morality plays
|
It has nothing to do with God in the classroom. It has nothing to do with Christmas displays, gay marriage, Hollywood, or video games.
It is the morality of everyone for themselves - rugged individualism, that allows the mentally unbalanced to suffer without treatment and have ready access to weapons. It is the morality that allows economic injustice to reign. It is the morality that takes the dim and makes "reality TV" stars of them (anymore, the dimmer the better). It is the morality that allows a pension fund plunderer to run for President. It is the morality that slices grandma's social security check to fund tax cuts for billionaires. It is all pervasive and inescapable. There's your problem, right there. It is not the signs and symbols of morality, but the actuality of it as lived |

Mocking the "war on Christmas" is a good thing and did not cause any bad conduct
