advocate illegal activities like teenaged public carry (the only type of gun use that would have helped Trayvon Martin).

here is 1 black member of the nra saying this-
" By my own personal accounting, I met twelve (12) black persons in attendance at the conference in St. Louis. I may have missed a few but not many.

Previously, I had attended the 2010 meeting in Charlotte. Sadly, I must report that both aforementioned events lacked significant participation by black people.

Now that’s what I call understatement. Twelve African Americans at a convention with over 73,700 attendees"

... Because part of the origin of gun rights activism in America started with the black rights groups.

They carried openly and state and local governments passed laws against it which they then fought.

The Black Panthers and the urban riots of the sixties did precipitate the first round of gun-control laws, supported by then Gov. Ronald Reagan.

10. Trayvon certainly

would have been justified by the "Stand Your Ground Law" as he was followed and accosted by Zimmerman. Got to be one of the stupidest laws on the books.

I'll believe the NRA is sincere, if they work to change that. (The NRA is not sincere)
