Gangnam Schmangnam! Kim Jong-Eun Deploys Gorgeous All-Girl Band To Celebrate Space Program

K-Pop so wrong that it's right...

North Korea’s beloved Pudgy but Sturdy Leader, Kim Jong-Eun, has deployed his latest weapon of mass destruction, engineered to leave Korean pop star Psy of “Gangnam Style” fame in the dust. ... celebrates the successful launch of a multistage rocket and deployment of a “weather” satellite.

The video must be seen to be believed. The band looks like something out of an Austin Powers movie.

16. Someone should do it. In fact a lot of film-makers should do it.

It could engender some very interesting copyright lawsuits.

12. It looked a little like Electric Light Orchestra,

except with young women.

Bev Bevan had better hair, though.

7. Such a fascinating study is delusion

is that entire country.

What was unusual there is allowing different roles - usually they have at least 5 people doing the same thing. Like they are afraid of individuality in performances.

8. They're pretty good-- bring 'em here and make a fortune, but...

not only are they in uniform, the all-male audience looks like a hundred clones.

18. works for me

the freaky part was all those robots in suits sitting in rows of chairs and clapping like they were programmed to do so.

It's not really gonna catch on in the west though without some more recognizable lyrics than "Hasim".

I mean, who the fark is Hasim, and just why does he want to stop the cat box?

Now if you will excuse me, I gotta go kiss this guy.

20. I wondered who was in the audience...

... Finally found out at about 6 minutes in... It was clones.

I wonder about the symbolism of the white uniforms on the musicians.

Anyway, they were talented. Repetitive and somewhat boring, but talented.

25. From their first album, "Now THAT'S What I Call Propaganda!"

It's the Commie Spice Girls meets Bond meets bad K-Pop meets worship of The Leader -- and a grand unification of kitsch at the quantum level!

Love seeing communist women boogie in nurse outfits, especially the lead guitarist. How cool is that? Nice.

27. The ladies are damned good. I appreciate good musicianship.

ELO or Mannheim Steamroller good, even.

But we've got to work on the theatrics. You know, like destroying your instruments or biting the heads off a few chickens.

Stick with me, kids, I'll take you places.
