A true Renaissance Man in every sense of the word. Freaky weird, Johnny Otis and Etta James died three days apart.

7. Another person who was big in the New York music world was in my class in school as a kid...

Not on this memoriam, but a loss for people I know personally. Chris Nadler passed away rather suddenly in the second half of this year right after we had a reunion that he missed.
