Did you hear about a Koch brother's bid-rigging case?

The Koch brothers had reached a settlement with the DOJ but the judge rejected it because "a final judgment that permits a defendant to leave its civil action with such a smirking, self-satisfied attitude."

According to the Denver Post article, William Koch's company made a deal with another bidder, SGI, that SGI would make the bid for drilling rights on some land in CO and then they would both develop it. This is illegal collusion!

Just think, this Koch brother is a billionaire, yet he thinks he should cheat the American people! The proposed settlement would have given "we the people" the amount that probably would have been raised without the collusion. ($550,000)

It's good the judge did this because there is something very wrong about this given that the dishonest Koch brothers stick their noses in our business all of the time.
