With people from both sides. Besides they were too busy reporting on the end of my state's very first wolf hunt to point that.

It is not necessary to know the firing power of a particular gun 16 rpm, 47 rpm, 3000 rpm ... all way to much for a private citizen.

This appears to be a new tactic of the crowd that adores their guns ... those of us that do not have a gun fetish are not interested ... just as I am not interested in other fetishes. Those that do not have a potential to impact (or kill me or others) are of no concern to me ... gun nuttery, now that is an entirely different subject. The fetish of others has the potential to impact me and other innocents.

6. Well, to most people they know the single most important trait of any firearm: Point, pull trigger.

The only reason I would be interested in anything else about any firearm would be to the extent that that other firearm stuff enhances the only reason I care about them in the first place: Point, pull trigger + how many bullets come out how fast + how far away can the trigger puller use the weapon and succeed + whether the weapon is concealed/I can perceive it or not + etc. etc. etc.

Unlike those of us who are possibly obsessed with these objects, nothing else I/most people could possibly know about weapons would matter if it weren't for Point, pull trigger.

Point, pull trigger and ownership is all I need to know and I'm not particularly interested in "taking away" anything more than assault weapons. Mostly, I'd just like my rights to protect myself respected by a REPEAL of CONCEALED CARRY, so I can make the kinds of decisions I have a right to make about public places that I'd prefer NOT to be in.
