That Repub outhouse's live broadcast of their good friend Wayne was justifiably ruined with the truth.

But I have seen a LOT of surprising attitudes around here. Been arguing with gun-lovin' Democrats(?) nonstop for a week.

If a few thousand more of us were willing to put our freedom and safety on the line, as members of Code Pink regularly do, many of our greatest problems as a nation would soon be behind us.

19. With one caveat:
|
The protests did interrupt LaPierre. Why is that a bad thing? Because he was doing more harm to the NRA every time he opened his yap than any protester could ever manage.
And yes, I'm a gun owner (although one who supports reasonable regulations). But the NRA can fuck right off. They're little more than a combination of money sponge and de facto arm of the RNC. |

Last edited Sat Dec 22, 2012, 08:48 AM USA/ET - Edit history (1) Your are right about the nra, we have over 300mill americans and only 4mill are nra members this means they aren't even 1% of the population. So why are people/congressmen so afraid of the meek (nra) when the powerful (us) wants a change? We hear that all the money they have influences the elections (BULL SHI!). We have more votes that they do but, what they do have is their money in the pockets of our congress person that is the real reason they are afraid of them...

26. Fantastic!!! They should protest peacefully carrying banners outside the TV studios in NYC

Fox broadcasts on 6th Avenue and 46/47th street in Manhattan
NBC today show at Rockerfeller Center outdoors from 7am to 11am eastern while security won't let protesters into the railed off parts, parading spontanteously where the windows are will get noticed. CBS studios are on W57th street between 10th and 11th, though they don't have live shots, the reporters(if there are any left) will see them If it were the warmer months, of course all of them have outdoor concerts that could be attended for free as does ABC The CW has a local news show (ch.11) in the NY/NJ/and CT area- they broadcast from the old Daily News building on east 42nd street between 2nd and third avenue on the eastern (downtown) block, ironically, the building is the fascade where the Christopher Reeve superman movies housed the Daily Planet (superman=faster than a speeding bullet, oh if he was only real today |

Last edited Fri Dec 21, 2012, 03:45 PM USA/ET - Edit history (1) at every school at Collier County, Florida. In some Elementary and Secondary schools, MULTIPLE officers in squad cars outside, and others INSIDE these schools. There were even armed police officers at the schools on LI where I worked. Can you say 9/11?
I never experienced a real Lock down in NY in 10 years, but I did, in two Elementaries, twice in 4 years in Florida, with armed police on campus. The armed criminals ran onto school property and we went into Lock down, AND HID IN BATHROOMS with Pre-K kids. Florida is still a Schools Gun Free Zone (law enforcement exempt), although the sponsor of SYG want to eliminate that so TEACHERS can carry in the schools. That is sick and a disaster waiting to happen. |
