1. They really thought they were gonna win.

It would almost make me feel sorry for them if everyone connected with the campaign hadn't been so disgustingly smug.

Although, in the interest of being slightly fair, how unusual is that?

5. That's the only thing they had ready on election day..

not the votes, not ORCA.. that use to freak me out when I would read about his damn transition team.. as if.

$9 million on the fantasy transition team.. is that why they overbilled reporters for the services rendered?

14. I wonder if he had THAT expression on his face when he got the news that he lost.

You know, THAT expression--the one he had on his face at the debate when the President invited him to "Please go on." It was a strange mixture of trying to win but being totally uncertain of who he is or why he's there.

15. I don't have a problem with this, even if it was taxpayer money.

To me it makes sense that a major party candidate should do some transition work before Election Day, in case he or she wins. The polls don't enter into it. I hope George McGovern and Barry Goldwater were doing that, too.

It also makes sense to have some public funding.

If, in October 2016, the polls have Marco Rubio leading the Democrat by a few points, the Democrat should still be assisted in setting up a transition team, so as to be able to hit the ground running.

16. Actually, that $9M was a government gift. Romney took full advantage of a recent law

He really did think he was going to win. Super delusional guy, surrounded by delusional people who were drafting a delusional transition plan. Thank God he lost!
