Far more people die in car accidents than plane accidents. So why do we even need an FAA?
I say, let the free market resolve airline traffic conflicts. You notice the Founding Fathers were entirely silent on the issue.

The are indeed the reason that aircraft are inspected regularly, crews trained to specified standards & the air traffic control system works.

7. The FAA puts burdensome regulations on the airlines!
If the government would just GET OUT OF THE WAY of the Airlines, they'd be making more money than the oil companies! Can you believe the nerve of the government to prevent the airlines from making as much money as possible!??! All these inspections and crews that demand high pay for their skills and standards and such! All getting in the way of business!
