Bork was not merely to the right of Kennedy, he was well to the right of Uncle Ruckus and even Scalia. As unbelievable as it may sound his judicial philosophy made Scalia look like Lewis Powell or Sandra Day O'Connor, but it's the truth.
Bork was flat out fucking insane. He believed the First Amendment applied solely and exclusively to political speech and that speech or publications on any other topics could be censored or restrained for whatever reason. He also stated in an article in the Indiana Law Journal that neither radio, television nor motion pictures were covered by the First Amendment.
