2. Pay very close attention to the vendors planning to exhibit at the next convention.

Scheduled for May in Houston.

A Flush Rush operation needs to target them.

They need to feel the flood tide of public disgust.

35. How specifically? What is a Flush Rush? It would be great if Anonymous got involved.

But I supposed someone going to the convention and getting all the information about the sellers we could bombard them with emails and phone calls and harass them. It would take a great effort.

16. That's an objective fact. He was a really mediocre actor. One of those you can't help thinking

that he wasn't in it for the love of creativity, just a good well-paid job for a guy who did well enough in the birth lottery to have the sort of looks that would sell.

It's soooo hard knowing that there are so many such mediocrities who have attained so much power over their betters and I'm not going to apologize for saying that, because I'm pretty damned certain that it's something that CH and all such would be completely comfortable, nay, even GLAD, saying the reverse of that about themselves relative to us.

day? Maybe for the NRA it will be the 'end of the world'. I agree with a lot of the talking heads out there - this Newtown Tragedy - looks like a 'watershed' event that could change the tide of gun ownership in this country.

13. They claim they are willing to make

some kind of contribution to see this never happens again. The first, and I mean first of many things I want to hear from them is that they will pay, in full, for that schoolhouse to be raised and a memorial park of the victims' families choosing on the site. And then for them to pay, in full, the entire cost of building a new state of the art school to replace Sandy Hook.

And in the interim, I want to see them fully support all new gun reform legislation to come in the next two Congressional terms at the end of which I want to see them disband or be tried as an enemy of the State. Any remaining funds left in the organization's accounts should be placed in a trust fund for victims of violent crimes where guns were used. Nothing less will suffice.

34. The contribution that they should make...

Would be to gather with all of their guns loaded and allow snipers to shoot at them from covered positions while they are all out in the open and able to shoot back.

Perhaps enough of them would be taken out by snipers (and fellow NRA members) that it would bring the organization to a bloody end.

We could then analyze the scene and put to rest the argument about how the people on subways, and in movie theaters, and in kindergarten classes should be armed to the teeth. Mostly because the people making that argument would be dead.

I don't expect that they really are willing to put themselves in a situation where their guns can be pulled from their cold dead hands.

I also dont think it's a good idea. Just venting.

8. I will never forget.

The blood of many dead innocents is on their hands, the Newtown tragedy being only the latest in a long, long string of gun violence and mass murder. The NRA has a lot of culpability in it all. Frankly, the only thing I want to hear from them Friday is that they are ceasing operations immediately.

halloween was two weeks away. i'm assuming that little girl loved the holiday as most kids do. her parents were constantly reminded of what their little girl would no longer be a part of--their first halloween without her--and here comes the fucking nra to say to hell with everybody-or as you put it: rub salt in wounds.

I'm sorry you can't see that having a convention just up the road from a massacre less than two weeks later would feel like salt in wounds.

I think Daniel Mauser's wounds felt pretty salted:
... About 8,000 demonstrators gathered outside, including Tom Mauser, father of Columbine victim Daniel Mauser, who carried a photo of his son that said, "Don't let my son's death be in vain.''

36. Take some action

After reading about a gun show in Danbury- a town very near Newtown- being cancelled, I found a list of upcoming gun shows and contacted a few of the venues where they were being held, suggesting that it might be good publicity to sever their ties with these gun shows. Here's the link http://www.gunshows-usa.com I used. I haven't heard back from the hotels I contacted yet, but it certainly can't hurt to let them know we're watching them.
