How in Hell does one come to the conclusion that more guns

more concealed carry, more firepower out there is the answer to this senseless slaughter of Americans?

Jesus, kill them all, Christ!

Putting firearms in the untrained arms of TEACHERS doesn't mean they automatically win and the shooter is dead...Just because I take my glock 19 to my grandsons kindergarten recital (how fucking insane is THAT?) doesn't mean the evil shooter will lose and I win with an automatic kill..I still have to have the ABILITY to recognize the threat, the shooter and then be able to kill him first.

God Damn it people, use your brains. Stop with the fucking NRA induced talking points and work at stopping this insanity.

3. St. Louis County Sheriff

Has proposed doing just that. Training key individuals in schools so that they have the same level of training as the officers who would respond. So your logic is??????

6. Oh, I see, "key individuals"

And if the "key individual" is the first shot in a rampage? Go back to your daydreams where Ted Nugent is always the guy next to you in the bank when it gets robbed.

Just because we put guns in schools does NOT mean the shooter loses!

12. Who said anything abouut disarming cops? Did it hurt when you pulled that out of your butt?

No, I'm saying in EVERY FUCKING mass shooting, not ONE fucking civilian conceal carry "hero" stopped or prevented any of the shootings.
The meme from the NRA is a false premise.

It might make you "feel safer", but the odds are in the favor of the bad guy killilng you.

7. It's a deflection.

They don't want to lose their dick sticks (guns) so any excuse other than guns being the problem is good even if it makes absolutely no sense.

17. more than deflection, it's a gift to the arms manufacturers

Suppose each and every public school across the country has to train and arm a percentage of CCW "security qualified" teachers/janitors/administrators.

Let's say it averages out to around 60 people per school district. Hell, let's be generous and say 10 of them already have their own CCW permits and ...err... equipment. So we arm another 50 people per district. There are over 16000 school districts in the USA.

16000 X 50 X $500 for a decent handgun & shoulder holster = $400000000.

$400 million dollars. That's a fair bit of cash dished out from the public coffers directly to the gun makers. If they can push this hard enough in the right direction, they stand to come out smelling like a rose and make a buck along the way.

10. It's the classic: "If all you have is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail" problem

Violence seems to be the only tool that Americans can come up with in response to most threats. Ergo, we try to solve most problems with violence of once sort or another.

Probably stems from the whole 'vindictive, punishing god' theory that so many of us are also into.

16. Then please explain why

all of these mass shootings seem to conveniently happen in these "gun free safe zones." Also, explain why the mall shooter recently took his own life upon just SEEING a legal concealed weapon holder pull out a gun and get ready to shoot him.

20. Not ONE mass shooting has EVER been ended by a civilian shooter.

Gun humpers conveniently ignore that fact.

Armed civilians attempting to intervene are actually more likely to increase the bloodshed, says Hargarten, "given that civilian shooters are less likely to hit their targets than police in these circumstances." A chaotic scene in August at the Empire State Building put this starkly into perspective when New York City police officers confronting a gunman wounded nine innocent bystanders.

when the Police do it. The anti gun nut frenzi would start if a armed civilian hit nine innocent bystanders. Dealing with nuttery is tiresome.

27. Same mentality that insists more tax cuts are the answer

These people are true believers, ideologues who can never be wrong about what they believe. The problem, according to this mentality, is that we never go far enough in implementing the purity of their ideology, despite all the evidence of just how disastrous their way of thinking is.
