Today's homework: The 3 R's - Reading, Riting and Reloading.....

We don't give our teachers enough educational resources for the classroom like books, computers, pencils and paper but we are more than willing to buy them each guns & ammunition?

It's hard to believe Governor but forcing women to undergo an unnecessary trans-vaginal probe is now NOT the biggest, stupidest idea you've ever had in your whole life.

Discussion over.

McDonnell: It’s time to discuss arming teachers

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/dec/18/mcdonnell-its-time-discuss-arming-teachers/

"RICHMOND | Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell said Tuesday that policymakers should not overreact to the Connecticut school shooting but should discuss allowing school officials to carry firearms on campus.

Friday’s shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School left 26 dead, including 20 children. It has renewed the gun debate, with President Obama pledging to address gun violence in the coming weeks. Some Democrats, like Virginia U.S. Sen. Mark Warner and avid hunter and West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin, have said they now favor more restrictions on guns.

Mr. McDonnell, a Republican, said during his monthly radio show on Washington’s WTOP on Tuesday that if school officials were trained and chose to have a weapon, they might have an opportunity to stop someone from trying to get into a school.

“I know there’s been a knee-jerk reaction against that. I think there should at least be a discussion of that,” Mr. McDonnell said. “If people were armed, not just a police officer, but other school officials that were trained and chose to have a weapon, certainly there’d be an opportunity to stop aggressors coming into the schools.”....."

It is getting mentioned and floated more than I thought it would. No chance of sticking on a grand scale.

Speaking priviledges of these stupid politicians. This is a dumb idea that ignores real issues. These people have GOT to leave Washington. My god, what are we, as a nation, becoming?

Governor Perry apparently said the same thing today in Texas. This is some common-sense gun legislation that I feel that I can get behind.
