I've yet to see one response to Newtown from conservatives that wasn't flippant, cruel or tasteless.

Not one.

All I've seen is defending of high-powered weaponry, more armed security, blaming the victims for not storming the shooter. Decrying the lack of access to psychiatric care - while at the same making sure every social safety net is reduced so it can be "drowned in a bathtub". Etc.

Not one response with an inkling of human compassion from the "family values" crowd.

Just an observation.

I've just been having it out with one who was beside himself, or at least pretended to be, over Benghazi yet has not one ounce of empathy for the plight of 20 6 year olds getting mowed down in their classroom.

And he has he nerve to call me "hysterical".

These people have no place at the table of civilized society.

If it was just radical bagger fundies I could understand, but these were DU members.

Just makes me all warm and fuzzy to know I should be locked up do they can remain armed to the teeth.
