These shootings happen in churches last time I checked they haven't taken prayer out of churches

The best response I have heard to the folks blaming prayer being taken out of schools

Let's make sure this outrageous statement lives with him forever. He just disqualified himself from any public office, as far as I'm concerned.

Seriously. This is every bit as insane as saying God sent Katrina because there was too much gayness happening in the French Quarter.

to compete with Limbaugh. You have to be way out there to compete with Limbaugh, but doing so could be highly profitable for Huckabee.

The problem is that may make it impossible for him to ever run for office seriously again. In a sane world, that would be true. In the world of GOP primaries, who knows. But if Jeb and Chris are planning to run in 2016, Huckabee is setting up quite a contrast.

The framing wars are really important.

"Gun control" is a dog whistle for the right wing.

"Gun reform" isn't much better.
