I'm seriously considering going to the dollar store and buying plastic dolls and covering them with red paint & mailing them to the NRA headquarters with a note that says -
Are you happy now?

(3,894 posts)we have to remember, NRA didn't do this alone, we as a society need to change regarding guns AND mental health (note I'm not saying mental illness because I mean we need to be allowed to focus on our mental health both individually and collectively, not something to be budgeting away and treated as unimportant). The NRA exists because so many give it money and dedication.
We have a societal problem. This problem is evident in politics, societies, religions, media, everywhere. How do we solve the idea that so many are so set on making sure our average folks' lives are always going to be in a state of upheaval and violence. Seems nearly 50% or more of our population supports the continuation of violence, dominance, name calling, lying to get one's ends even the good guys lie their asses off, vigilantism (known in tv as forgivable heroism usually and politically are collateral damage).... we try to fine tune when violence is acceptable and how it's acceptable. It's not acceptable by gun, but by drone it is???!!!?????
This isn't an NRA problem, they are just the face of it, the heart of lies within each of us and all of us.
