OH NO! Republicans, PLEASE don't nominate Newt Gingrich!
I can't see Obama beating him, not in a million years!
There's no question that Gingrich is the more likable candidate, the one with fewer skeletons in his closets, the one with a better track record of honesty and ethical behavior!
And God knows Newt Gingrich has never acted hypocritically or stood in favor of a position he is now against! Obama is TOAST next to someone who has this amount of demonstrable respect for the Constitution and the office of the Presidency!
When Gingrich and Obama are placed together in front of the general electorate, the choice is devastatingly clear. Independents, moderates, minorities, the elderly, the poor...all of them will take one look at Newt Gingrich and say "HIM! That's the man who perfectly represents everything good and decent about America! Forget Barack Whatshisname--we want Newt to rule us all!"
He's just an incredibly strong candidate with no flaws whatsoever. If the GOP does the smart thing and picks him over Romney, I'm afraid Obama is doomed.
