GRAPHIC WARNING: This is what an automatic gunfire looks like.

And there is *NO* reason to have high capacity magazines or automatic/semi-automatic weapons.

NONE.

They need be confiscated and destroyed. They can keep their revolvers and muskets and varmint guns.

Now compare it with something else. Which is safer, honestly?

2. Legally owned machine guns have only ever been used in 2 crimes in the past 78 years.

Banning them would be pointless.

The people who buy them spend $20,000-$50,000 per gun and have to wait 3-6 months for the FBI to conduct a background check.

3. What does full auto have to do with anything?

As far as I know, no full auto guns were used in this shooting. Furthermore, full auto is very difficult to obtain, and very expensive, requiring an ATF background check that takes a few months to complete.

4. Interesting...but utterly irrelevant to today's news.

Those murders were committed with semi-automatic handguns...not a machine gun.

6. Um, what?

What was graphic about any of that?

Seriously, what was the point of this?

You do know that even the cheapest automatic firearm available is >$10,000, and requires an extensive > 4 month background check by the FBI, along with fingerprint submission and a sign off by a CLEO officer as well, right?

Oh, and something like 2 murders have EVER been committed with legally owned automatic weapon.

The facts, they burn!
