right-wing, Tea Party cheering section right here on DU: the Gungeon.

3. It's funny. I don't dare talk about guns at work - people get all bent out of shape

I will only talk to people who I know are willing to discuss the topic. It has become an incredible hot button issue and at some point there will be a knee jerk reaction by congress. It has happened before and it will happen again.

4. When gun nuts start talking about drug testing welfare recipients...

...I counter with perhaps gun owners should be tested on a regular basis considering the potential hazards.

LOL

5. IMO drug testing is more approrpiate for CEO's, members of congress and/or any position

where you are required to carry a firearm. I mean - those are the people who we trust with power in our society.

I just don't know how, from a moral, ethical, logical or practical perspective, you can see a way to thinking that drug testing the poorest people in the country is a good idea.

7. It most certainly does.

It's a very RW Mantra that seems to have spread like a bad rash.

8. It's a very RW Mantra

It's a religious cult. That's why all logic flies out the window when "discussing" guns and what they really are.

9. Not exactly a "'well-regulated' Militia."

But tens of millions with deadly weapons, locked and loaded.

Fox News may have a great deal to do with a great deal that is wrong.

But tens of millions faunching to extinguish others is beyond even Fox's capability for evil.
