"Obama is soft."

Wow, Dan Rather was really harsh on The Rachel Maddow when they talked about the Susan Rice fiasco. Just saw the repeat.

1. Yeah. The play is set. Blame Obama instead of the three assholes who LIED

about Ambassador Rice.

This is becoming an old screenplay. It's clear that a lot of people were not happy that President Obama won re-election. I'm deeply disappointed in Dan Rather. He appears to be a staunch anti-Obamanite.

6. You mean the 3 assholes that ...

.. snookered Obama, again?

And it's Dan Rather's fault that Obama didn't stand up to the 3 lying assholes?

Whodda thunk he had that kinda muscle?

11. No. I mean the 3 assholes who trumped up this crap

against Rice. But then, as I remember, you've been against the appointment of Ambassador Rice almost as much as you are against President Obama from the get-go, so no wonder you're trying to defend them.

With "Democrats" like you, who needs Republicans?

13. Well then you "remember" wrong...

... as I've not said a fucking word, one way or another about Rice or the subject of the SOS, period. None. Zero. Zitch. Nadda.

But I guess if you've got nothing else, you just make shit up and throw it at the wall hoping it will stick.

Pathetic. Time to update my ignored list.

2. And Dan Rather is a washed up newsman who screwed up the Bush AWOL story

So why should we care what he says?

3. And yet he tried. Unlike President Obama, who gives that criminal Bush a total pass for his crimes.

10. Ya know,

and this isn't necessarily aimed at you Mother, but there has never been, ever, any President who prosecuted the one preceeding him. The reason is, he may end up doing something illegal himself and wouldn't want to set precedent.
The notion that Obama is to be faulted for not nailing the drunken frat boy is faulty because it's never happened before, so why now?
They just don't do that to each other. Mr. Obama is now in the 'club'.

12. It's tradition in this country . . .

Black people have to work three time as hard to gain legitimacy. Some on this MB believe we shouldn't mess with tradition, that's why.

8. I believe Mr. Rather was explaining how the GOP'ers view President Obama.

He used the phrase of thought by the GOP, " We can roll him, taking his watch and his wallet".

Well...the Rice scenario was just that in my opinion. Obama advisers strongly recommended the President just go pick another battle and surrender Rice.

Dan Rather was reporting....I believe Rachel agreed.

9. How can he be soft on a nomination that he never made, nor said she was higher in his options

than anyone else, nor on a list of any kind or anything like that. He expressed the standard assessment of and respect for her qualifications.

If anyone has a link in which PO says, TTE, "Susan Rice is my nominee, or will be my nominee, or my favorite candidate for SoS" I need to see it.

14. Thank you.

You won't see a link showing PO saying ANYTHING about who is his nominee, or even his favorite candidate because it doesn't exist. This whole controversy has been just more of the corporate media happily carrying water for the GOP bullshitters. And, this was just more of it.

Dan Rather has really disappointed me lately. He was was on Rachel's show right before the election, insisting that Romney was going to win. And, here he is again, spouting even more anti-Obama crap. I'm even more disappointed in Rachel, because not only does she keep bringing him back, she goes right along with him. I had to turn it off--again.
