Sit down Boner....we have something to talk about.

First of all, we regret that we inherited two wars, Medicare drug program, and trillions in unpaid tax cuts - instead of a balanced budget, like your Party inherited in 2001. Also, we very much regret that we were left with an economy that sucked, mostly caused by your Party.

So, let's stop with the self-righteous bullshit. The problem we are facing with debt and deficits and spending is the result of incompetence and malfeasance by the Republican Party of this country.

So, do you want to discuss fixing it or do you want to continue tearing it down?

1. Send it to Jay Carney

or one of his staff, maybe it will get to him that way.
You framed this exactly so everyone can understand it.

5. Agreed!!!

The more they tear down, the harder it is for us to build it back up. GOP is on a scorched-earth mission from the Koch brothers. They cannot impose their fascist tyranny if we are educated, fed, healthy, and prosperous. And ORGANIZED!

7. Unfortunately,

A substantial number of Democrats also voted in favor of those wars and Medicare D.

We need to talk to them too.

8. Agreed

Although the republicans are more so to blame, there were also many democratics who went along with it. For a time, right after the prosperity of the Clinton years, there was a culture of wild spending up on the hill because everybody had gotten used to there being plenty of money for each person's pet project, and very few voices dissented.

10. None of it would have passed if Democrats had voted NO.

The IWR vote was a sticking point during the primaries. Democrats were trying to run away from their vote (except Obama who had the luxury of not having been in the Senate at the time).

13. It would be nice if all Democrats voted as solid a block as Repubs...

But they were never the majority. I think they suck for voting with them at all but maybe most of the blue dogs are gone now?

12. Obama conceding anything to the Republicans

is equivalent to someone giving the keys to a drunk driver. Why would you do it? You wouldn't.
