Apparently, they didn't go very far. I clicked through on one of them.

5. bye bye to the whiniest, most annoying voice in current politics.

True finger nails on the chalkboard territory.

Good riddance!

7. 2000

Lieberman should have been vice president.

And then possibly could have run for POTUS in 2008.

I'm not saying that he could have won, but I bet John McCain wouldn't have run against him.

Butterfly effect, huh?

10. It saddens me to think how much we allowed him to influence our decisions.

send me a copy of it--I need more asswiping paper.

Nah, we didn't miss it--we just didn't give a rat's patoot.

If an idiot speaks in the woods and nobody hears it, isn't he still an idiot??

14. All I can think of when you say that Lieberman gave a speech

Is Jon Stewart doing a sanctimonious Droopy Dog imitation where all he says is variations of, "Blah de-blah de-blah blah."

19. it's funny though

because until 911 and the Iraq war, I never knew him as a neoliberal. Of course, I did not know anything about him at all really, but in 2000 I had nothing against him. It seemed to me that getting thumped in the 2004 primary where he sorta expected to be the front-runner made him bitter and made him turn more to the right out of spite, and so did losing in the primary in 2006.

20. I wonder if there's any part of him that regrets how far he deviated from

his Democratic principles? I guess we'll be reading about it in his memoirs.
