The Boss just thanked the gay community for keeping the Shore alive for decades

If you're not watching the 12/12/12/ concert, you might want to consider it. This is awesome so far (though we're only a little into the first set). He's playing My City of Ruin right now.

6. Yes... I posted a thread in GD, earlier in the day, and got only yawns....

http://www.democraticunderground.com/10021966064

There is a link contained within that gives multiple channels and livestreams. This is a long concert, just started and runs for 4 hours, I think.... Springsteen, the Who, Roger Waters, Paul McCartney, Bon Jovi, Alicia Keyes, Rolling Stones, Chris Martin and others...

Plus, for a very good cause--What is with the lack of enthusiasm?

11. Specifically Asbury Park

The art community and gay community. That's the beach my husband and I go to. In 2098 - there were still a lot of Abel's there. In 2009 - we spent every Sunday together there. We've gotto bring it back!

12. I also liked how Bruce hinted that mixed-income housing

should be part of the "conversations" about the "rebuilding process" in order the retain the shore's "character."

Propping the police departments and introducing Eric Clapton.
