could the Democrats have halted Republicans march against the people if they had left the state until the end of the legislative session? Can the state legislature operate in Michigan without a quorum?

At least that was what I saw here in Indiana before they rammed RTW through here earlier this year.

Maybe the people who stay home in non-Presidential election years might finally see the difference between Republicans and Democrats and get to the polls from now on, because they realize that elections have consequences FOR THEM.

...the Norman Goldman Show and she said in 2010 many Union members voted for the GOP because they were told that Obama was going to take away their guns and homosexuals will marry. So they voted Republican instead.

he waited until after the election because "don't worry, I'm not planning anything drastic" was part of his campaign against proposal 2 (which would have enshrined bargaining rights in the constitution)

But this is something we pretty much already knew. Same thing on the wild abortion bill they just passed. 2014 could be a very tough year on Republicans in Michigan. Same can be said for Florida, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Wisconsin.
